Hi, I’m Jill.
I provide individual integrative therapy for deeper self awareness and meaningful change to help navigate life transitions with clarity, self-compassion, and resilience.
My Therapy Approach
I enjoy working with adults, emerging adults, and families in the midst of change and uncertainty. This includes supporting clients around identity, gender, sexual orientation, relationship stress, grief, codependency, lifestyle changes, trauma, depression, anxiety, new roles in the family dynamic, and career development, among other life transitions.
I integrate a blend of techniques rooted in Interpersonal Family Systems (IFS) work and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This enables me to explore with my clients both deep-seated issues that may have developed in childhood and are still at play in ways they may not realize, as well as current unmet core needs.
IFS speaks to and navigates the multiplicity of our personalities. It’s natural for us to say something like, “A part of me feels one way while another part feels differently… all the while another part has concerns and yet another is hopeful.” In its elegant way, it can navigate myriad thoughts and feelings, cultivating a sense of clarity and opening up new outcomes and experiences of Self.
I provides treatment specific interventions tailored to meet the need and goals of every client.
I am excited to be your advocate and help you bravely begin this new life story or chapter. I am hopeful in working together to help you feel more self-compassion and worth—living the best version of yourself.

Journey From Journalism to Therapy
I am inspired by resilience and passionate about empowering others to share and “rewrite” their life stories. My love for heartfelt connection came to fruition during my time and career as a journalist.
I grew up in Forida and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Communication from the University of Florida. I relocated to New York City to pursue my journalism career and reconnect with my family roots.
Journalism laid a powerful foundation for my passion for social work and clinical therapy. I was often invited into people’s lives during moments of deep vulnerability. After trauma, injustice, or loss, but also in moments of triumph, reinvention, perseverance, and healing. I was struck by the resilience in their stories and the trust they placed in me to tell them with care.
I didn’t want the relationship to end with an article and byline. I wanted to offer support, not just bear witness. I wanted to be part of the healing process, not just the narrative. Journalism taught me how to listen deeply with intention, ask meaningful questions, and hold space for discomfort and complexity. But ultimately, it revealed a deeper calling: to move from chronicling people’s struggles to helping them navigate and transform them.
I went on pursue graduate school at Fordham University in 2011. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2013.
Clinical social work allows me to move from documenting struggle and strength to helping people navigate and transform both. My path forward is rooted in the same values that drew me to journalism: empathy, presence, and the power of human connection.
